Message from Glen Allen
Due to the poor customer service here at PBase, I've decided not to renew my account. PBase has a great sense of community amongst it's users, but the operators do not respect their paying customers. They do not provide timely or accurate updates on system problems, and i feel are running the system as a hobby instead of a business which it is. I fear it has become a failing business due to their lack of concern for their members. There have been no substantial system improvements made in the years that I have been a member and any action i did see from the programmers were poorly executed system recoveries after a crash. The last crash recovery for me was the last straw, had a proper recovery plan been in place and proper backups made it should have taken hours not weeks. These are my views agree or disagree but I have a right to voice them, I've paid for that right as a member.
I decided to join the Zenfolio hosting service, and couldn't be happier. They have rolled out two major system enhancements in the short time that I've been a member and have responded within hours/minutes of my questions. Nothing but praise for their customer service, considering the cost is the same as Pbase and the system provides more storage space and up to date and customizable features without having to have a degree in CSS.

I've enjoyed the friends I've made here on Pbase and will visit their galleries regularly (for those that have decided to tough it out here at least).
