I saw one of the eagles this morning on my way to work, sitting on the rock at the eastern side of the Gainer Dam. I always look at the rock to see the water level and this morning it was just sitting watching the water, probably for breakfast.

I have been watching bald eagle cams for a few years online. My sister just told me there is a nesting pair with eaglets in lincoln. I never knew that. While i would love to see them myself, i know they are a protected species. I hope no one oversteps their boundaries and leaves this family alone. Is there anyone to watch that this is honored?

Ken,

I am a retired Veteran who has picked up nature photography. I live across the border in CT and would love to come out and see the Eagles in person. I see that we are both canon people. If you can drop me an email at kent@kphyfe.com and let me know where to best stop that would be great. Check out my osprey at kphyfe.zenfolio.com

Hope to meet you soon

Ken,
It was a pleasure to see your excellent pictures. They are such varied subjects and beautifully composed. You have a great eye and manage, most of the time, to catch the essence of the moment.

Guest,
Back in 2003, I was drinving by and saw a man with a telescope standing on the side of the road. I stopped and ask him what he was watching. He told me, and I been stopping by since then. I am pretty sure he was not an Inspector. I wish I could remember who he was.

Ken, who was the Providence Watershed Inspector who notified you of the nesting eagles?

Ken,
These photos are truly stunning. You need to start selling them, if you don't already.
I can't wait to see the photos you were taking tonight in the parking lot with your new lens. How lucky are we to have a neighbor like you?

My boyfriend took me to see the Eagles on Mothers Day. It was a wonderful surprize. He had seen photos near his work at EB in Quonset. Could these photos be yours? Beautiful pictures.

Enjoyed meeting you, looking at the photographs and seeing the bald eagle and eaglets. I've heard about the eagles and finally got the chance to finally stop and take a look. Thanks.

Really enjoyed meeting you and looking through your pictures today near the eagles' nest (really enjoyed seeing the eagles, too; whose spotting scope was that?). So if their heads are white and their tails are white, why are they called bald eages? Hm? Why not...I dunno...bare-bottom eagles?

Looking forward to the 2006 pictures. I'll bookmark. (See, I told you I'd leave a comment!)
